Clay - What Happened?
« on: April 09, 2016, 10:43:02 AM »
I was putting some stuff away in my cabinet and got to thinking, "man I have a bunch of clay."  Now they're all in sealed, screw-on-lid containers.  I started opening them to see what was in each and the last one looks like this...

That's my guess.

Saved wet and sealed? I had some finishing pads do that to me after I had washed them and didn't dry them all the way and sealed them up in some ziplocks. I started putting them in the ziplocks but not sealing them now.

I'd guess mold also.

When I used clay I would wrap wax paper around it ( in  U not an envelope ) and put it in a plastic bag ( open end ) and set it in the cabinet.

Looks like Nano Skin time for you

I had another exact container with the same brand clay in it, both open (I don't know why) and only one got like that.  Must have had some kind of moisture in it.

Nano skin isn't in my immediate future.  Maybe when my clay isn't good anymore I will entertain the idea again.  I'm just not sold on it.

Wow, that's pretty gross.  :nana:

You may want to just get a nanoskin sponge, pretty inexpensive. Once your clay us done with that is.

Although, I will still keep clay on hand.
