Picked up a new truck
« on: September 14, 2015, 09:46:21 PM »

Haven't been around in a while. Lots of changes for us. We are no longer in Texas. My wife took a new job that'll have us in Oxford Mississippi for the next 3 years or so. While passing thru Arkansas ended up trading for a new truck. Couldn't pass up the deal.

Hope to be back to detailing again once we find a place. Our last 2 had steep driveways and no space.

Do you ruin them at work to go through that many ?

I have jeans not quite as old as my truck.
- I was just told to buy new ones.

I think my suits and shirts last longer than Harold owns trucks.
- This is what I wear 70% of the week.

Just a word of warning, those running boards are like mine and slippery as **** when they are wet.

I'm saving pennies for Amp power boards.

Unfortunately, I get about one year out of a pair of Levi's due to the kind of work I do. On the bright side though, each pair is still 32W x 34L - at almost 60 years old. Eat your hearts out guys!

34L,  Tom?   How tall are you?   I just tried a pair of 38x34 on at Cabelas and they were insanely long on me.   I'm 6'3" and stick to a 32L.  You must be all legs,  Tom.

By the way,  nice truck, Harold.   I sat in one and fell in love.   My favorite interior of all the trucks and I've been in them all.

I'm only 6' 1" - but most of it is in my legs. Believe it or not, when I was in high school, I wore 30x36 Levi's - that dragged on the ground just a bit.

I'm not sure I ever fit in a 30-x-anything.
