06 F250 needs work
« on: June 24, 2015, 12:17:40 AM »
My KR needs some work.  I feel bad for the ol gal.  I washed her up date several months.  Found some bad news in the paint.   Some etching....I sure hope it's in the option coat.

I need to spend a weekend on it.

I have cow scratches all over.

Thanks guys, I see lots of marring and some scratches...putting the truck in storage after a rain has put some etching like defects in the paint...hope it's just on top of the OptiCoat.  It is 1.5 years old now so maybe its time to do a quick polish and apply a fresh coat.

This thread makes me sick.   If you saw what my truck looks like right now...

I wish I had the time to get to mine.   I'd be happy to just wash it at this point.

You're truck still looks great!

I hear ya, it makes me sick too...that I have to spend even more time that I don't have on my paint.

No sympathy here..... :redneck:

The salt really took it's toll on mine this winter but mine this past winter I'm seriously debating hanging a plow on the old girl and assigning it to tow pig/snow removal duty permanently then finding a nice car like a Lincoln of Caddy to drive.
Good enough never is

I am about to put the 7.3 fan clutch on mine.
