Bullet Proof coating on fiance's new ride
« on: April 30, 2015, 06:46:46 PM »
We just got a new Highlander Limited and the first thing we did was put on the Bullet Proof Coating for protection.  This stuff is super easy to use, the easiest coating that I've used by far.  After applying the coating I used Bullet Proof Topper to protect the coating from getting wet in the 24 hour cure period.  Topper is adds crazy slickness and made the metal flakes comes out even more, the coating also really made the flake pop.  Love these 2 products!

Justin,

I am just getting a chance to look into this.  I watched the video on the C.A.R. site and it did not do the product justice.

When waiting for the product to flash on the paint, can you use an air hose like Opti Coat ?
- I don't know if you have tried this or if it is not recommended.

When you applied the Bullet Proof Topper, how long did you wait.
- The video on the C.A.R. site, the post flash and buff of the high spots, the paint did not look that good clarity wise, so I was wondering if using topper should the full 24 to 48 be waited out ?
Steve

Yes you can use an air hose to help it flash faster. I use Topper an hour after the coating and that is what is recommended. Topper protects the paint in the 24 hour cure period in case it would get wet by a chance.

Both products are crazy easy to use.
