I know what’s causing the failures now. Hopefully I’ll get that resolved and this one can have a happy, healthy long life.

Put about 60 miles on it messing around in manual mode shifting it lots.

Working really well and the shifts are very smooth.

Quick shift test at under half throttle.

Yes, lol. But also has to do with the compression settings of the front shocks. They were backed off too much and allowing the front end to hop.

I’ve been doing some research and think I found a solution.

There is apparently more of a issue than I thought with front end hop. I found a dozen guys online that have the issue and as it turns out, they all have the front end leveled and most are running AT tires.

I also believe I found the cause of my noise on the 3-4 shift. I went by the instructions provided by Reybestos and they say to remove one of the wave washers in one of the clutch packs. Apparently they were old instructions...damn.

So you shouldn't have removed the washer?  Glad it's running well.

Spare trans is out, the noise was driving me nuts. I ended up re-building the "built" trans my self and putting it the truck. Everything has been working great for far.

I met up with a few other enthusiasts (social distancing of course)

Decided to throw it on the Dyno while we were at the shop.

Nice! I guess this means I'm not going to challenge you to a drag race with my xB any time soon.  :funny:

That torque comes at you fast.  That's gotta be some kinda feeling.  Haha.

You site, have entirely to much time on your hands.    Kudos

When it comes to time, I don’t have a lot, but make use of what I have.

The torque flair at the start of the pull, is just due to him being used to diesels and starting at a super low RPM. The torque converter wasn’t locked yet.

I had a chat with the owner of Full Race. He confirmed my suspicions that my current Catted Down Pipes are a restriction at this power level and hurting my top end power. I have no plans to really do anything about it, but it's good to know that I'm not crazy.

We had 6 truck do pulls and one car. I was the only one that blew the exhaust vent off and what started me thinking about the set up.

How much of a pain in the ass would it be if you went cat-less.  How strict are canadian laws and how easy are they to work around?

Just money honestly. I can turn off the O2's myself so I wouldn't get a code and there are no vehicle inspections here.

It might add a little more volume though, as you can hear in the video, it's got a nice quiet tone to it now that is my preference.
