You can rent a dump trailer from Home Depot, but they are junk. This comes from a small business where I know the owner. He rents it to me for $50 a day, so I’m happy with that.

I was there to grab some screws for the deck and figured it was a good opportunity to grab a pic, lol.

So no more hot tub?  Cassie's wants to get one.  I can only be in one for a short time before I start feeling claustrophobic.

What's going on in the neighbor's yard with that eyesore of a privacy fence?

We barely used it and couldn’t justify the cost of maintenance and keeping it up to temp all the time.

Out Neighbor is a bit of a shut-in, so he built high walls around his deck when he re-built last year. I’ll take those walls over his grumpy face anytime.

It still needs a serious detail, paint correction and re-coating, but still looks good after a quick clean up.

Well, made a impromptu trip to do a little riding today. Tire dressing was a bad idea.

Haha looks custom.  It looks like they're supposed to be that color.

Happy that I at least got the top done this weekend. Need to figure out what we want for a railing now.

Absolutely beautiful! Some of us thought all you could do was break up concrete. I've got to do a deck on the back of our house one of these days.

I was talking with a friend at a car meet and one of his buddies was also there. Were were talking about coatings and I told him I had some of the PB's ceramic coating to try on the Wife's car. He mentioned this stuff and it so happens that I have a connection through my Milwaukee tool guy. I ordered the 3 year coating and will try it on the truck.

Email from truck meet dude

"Google "revivify ceramic coating" or www.revivifycoatings.com

It's a new gen self healing coating. Conventional 9H/10H coatings are yesterday's technology which were good at minimizing swirls however once it is swirled, a polish and reapplication of topcoat is needed. Self Heal coatings will just cure with heat about 70 degree c..meaning a hot day or boiling water. Revivify is based on polysilazane instead of polysiloxane, meaning its a much higher grade for better durability and performance. I have tested SH Pro since June 2019.

Car 1 - washed every 2 weeks - hydrophobic no change.
Car 2 - washed every 3 weeks - hydrophobic degraded slightly and was able to bring it back with our coating restore agent.
Car 3 - washed every 4 weeks - in Feb, hydrophobic on lower doors is completely gone and could not be brought back.

There is also a car 4 that has been washed 1065 times and everything is still performing. We did notice a slight change in hydrophobic and slickness after 1021 wash."

There's a cool finding for bird poop. After poop was left on coating for 2 weeks under hot sun it etched the coating. We were able to self heal the etching with heat.

The truck finally got a mini paint detail.

-Washed with waterless wash (optimum no-rinse)
-Clayed with regular mothers clay and ONR at QD ratio
-Light polish with M205 on a Rupes yellow pad
-Finished with Mequiars “Fast Finish” coating until Incan decide what coating I want to use.

The truck had Opti-Coat 2.0 on it from last fall and it held up pretty good.

This is before hitting the truck with M205.

I’m hoping I can get the trim and the glass done tonight.

Doesn't even look like it needed the polish.

Am I reading that correctly in the other post?  Car 4 was washed over 1,000 times since June 19?  So on average, over 3 times per day?

I figured that I needed to remove whatever was left of the Opti-Coat. There were some rub marks on the sides from trails, but not too bad overall.

Yeah, that’s how I read that too. I’m assuming it was just for testing.
