Very disappointing today. The issue I have been having on the street is way worse on the Dyno.

So I have some work to do and figure it out.

That sucks, man.  Hate to hear it didn't go as you had hoped.  What are you thinking?  Tuning issue?

I have two different tuners and the same issue, so not likely, but not impossible.

First things to look at are injectors and wiring. It’s possible that I pinched a wire during install or something got in the fuel system and caused some injector issues.

Not fun stuff, but I’ll get it figured out.

The silver lining is that it made that much power by 4500RPM, so should be pretty easy to hit my goal once I have this sorted out.

Truck drives 100% under normal circumstances, it just has the issue at WOT at the higher RPM

Have you had a chance to do any troubleshooting?

Waiting for injectors and new injector harnesses to show up. If I'm going that deep, I'm just going to replace them.

I did take some time to inspect the engine wire harness and all connections. Nothing found and everything looked good.

Once I get back Thursday from this business trip, I should have the parts and will swap. We start the road trip on Saturday, so it would be really nice to sort this out.

Nope, swapped them and still have the issue.

I’ll have to think about what I need to do next.

These parts were free, thanks to the engine builder, but gonna have to dig deep and maybe get my hands on a scan tool to do some testing.

So I guess the builder was thinking the injectors were the issue too?  Do you have any idea at this point?  I can't imagine how frustrating this must be.

Honestly seems electrical. Yeah, since we had one legit bad injector, it was possible for two. We were actually thinking a pinched/damaged wire in the harness was more likely.

It is still possibly a tune issue, but doesn’t seem likely.
