Everything I think I need at this point is in a box on it's way to me, other than some fuel line. So fingers crossed that next weekend will be all truck work.

Today, I was able to get Moog Sway bar bushings and end-links in, Motor mounts, Alternator, High Pressure fuel line and Belt tensioner, put on the motor.

This is taking too long.  I need to see it run.  Hear your thoughts.  Get some Dyno numbers.  Come on.  Quit dragging your feet.

Haha.  I know it's probably way worse for you.

Dude, I’m barely hanging on here. All the work crap is keeping me distracted though.

I’ll have some good pics for you later, a few bits showed up today.

Something for you to look at in the meantime.

Improved racing remote filter mount. The engine adaptor will run to this and then there will be a run to a aux. oil cooler mounted in the grill

Radium fuel regulator

Mount location for fuel line mock up

Injector Dynamics fuel filter (will be mounted under the truck by the evap box)

Bulk oil line I’ll cut up for filter housing and oil cooler.

I am trying to recall 2009 + MY, isn't there a filter screen on the fuel pump in the tank ?

If I got that right, did you remove it ?

Yes, there is a filter sock on the in-tank pump. I'll be leaving it on the new pump as it's a pretty coarse filter. This one is 5 microns.

Funny thing is, I was in Tennessee visiting family once and grabbed a pair of someone's Crocs just to run outside for something.  Man, they are comfy.

Measurements for custom fuel lines sent and are now being made (I really didn't want to mess with fuel by making my own).

Random parts all ordered up and should be here by Friday. Once I get the parts, the fun can really start.

In the meantime, I took Friday off to tackle the paint. Game plan is, ONR wash, clay mitt, Correction (need to test a few combos) and the Optimum Gloss coat. Since the truck has to go to the body shop afterwards, I don't have to mess with the passenger side box panel.

Other items planned for this weekend
Trans pan drop and filter change
Transfer case fluid change
Rear diff fluid and new diff cover
Rear diff sand and paint
Under hood clean up
Remote oil Filter mount location Mock-up

People like Barry Manilow, that does not make it OK...

Yes I am comparing Barry Manilow to Crocs or Crocs to Barry Manilow; either way they are both wrong...
- What does Dead Pool call them... :wow:

Good call on the fuel lines. Sounds like me with electrical stuff.  Ultimately the same fear I assume.  Fire

Being that I'm comfortable with my manhood - and the fact that I could give a rat's butt about what other people think of me at my age - I will admit to buying a pair to wear on the beach for the cruise Stella and I took this summer. They're stupid comfortable. So I'll proudly stand beside my friend from the Great White North on Crocs!
