Certainly an unexpected purchase, but should be pretty cool when done.

I’ll post up some specs of the build next week once we finalize compression ratio and the work that’s gonna be done to the heads.

Winch is coming out and the stock intercooler and exhaust going in the truck this weekend. Fingers crossed that the dealership my cousin and Uncle work at will be able to get me a motor under warranty. The deal is that I get a free motor swap for my Built motor and a new motor that I can sell. We’ll see if it actually plays out.

That's awesome if you can make it happen!

I really hope so, but it’s a bit of a long shot. We’ll see what happens.

Pulled the Intercooler and winch last night and the Down-piped and cat-back today. Man the DP’s are not fun to swap.

So other than the turbos and manifolds, it stock from a performance standpoint. Manifolds are OEM, just ported and coated and the turbos look 100% stock.

Made it the rest of the way. Engine is making a bit more noise, but nothing major.

Well, the engine builder twisted my arm...

Adding a upgraded HPFP and a upgraded Torque Converter. I was gonna add them, then dropped them, then added them again.

I don't like the idea of my truck being in someone else's hands, but I guess it's gotta happen in this case.

Man, I hope you plan on keeping this truck for a while.  Haha.

I’m pretty sure I will. Can’t see a reason to get rid of it anytime soon.

Probably just end up keeping it when looking to get something else in the future. If we move, I’ll have some driveway space.

While waiting for the truck to get the engine swapepd, I came across a great deal on a set of scratched OEM 20's. The same 5 spoke ones I had before off the 2015+ trucks.

Picked them up last night, I'll head over to the self-serve sandblaster and then take them for powder coat. They were so cheap that I figure I'll have some fun with them and try going for a bronze-type color. These will be wrapped with whatever tires I can find for a decent price, probably something used. I'll be keeping the wheels/tires I currently have, but these will be something different to run once in a while.

This is the wheel

These are the two colors I ordered. I'll choose which one after the PowderCoater does a couple test pieces.

Cassie's wheels are bronze are her WRX.  I love it.

Do it!  It will look killer on that blue.

Thanks Guys, I wanted to stay away from Black as it just seems to be the default.

It's pretty funny as the Subie's are the main reason I'm looking at a Darker Bronze. They seem to have a pretty close blue to mine and it was a good comparison to see how the Bronze would work with it.

The two options are very close in color, but one is glossy and the other is semi-gloss. Semi-Gloss is my gut, but I want to see them in person.
