Apparently the local vendor should have the Natty's liquid red by next week. I'll put in my order early August when I'm back from vacay.

I made a little more progress in the last few days
 - ceramic tint on front windows done 50%. any tint is illegal here
 - Recon Puddle lights, WAY brighter than OEM
 - ANZO LED marker lights. I recently found out they are junk, so we will see how long they last
 - Ordered Morimoto LED fog lights. Found a killer deal and couldn't pass them up
 - Bought a used stereo trim piece that I can hydro-dip to match the door panel inserts. Since there are buttons and stuff, I wanted to have a back-up in case I messed it up.

Once all that is done, I think the truck will just be getting a full detail this summer. I'll cool it on the mods for the next little while. I will keep an eye out for a deal on tires to put on the raptor wheels and then sell the 20's. At least that will be a wash.

I'll try and get some pics up this weekend!

I have the Morimoto LED Fogs in the Tacoma and love them.

Awesome, they showed up today and look good.

I like that they match the color of the HID's very closely and don't have the "Chrome" look. Hope to get them on this weekend, but we'll see.

I have a ML and A4 to do some detail work on this weekend, might be too busy to do my own stuff.

Well the wife was very forgiving this weekend and gave me some time to get s**t done. Considering it was our anniversary on Saturday (married 11 blissful years), I was happy to get this done.

Truck didn't get washed, but it's meant to rain today and tomorrow. But I did get the Morimoto fog lights in and the marker lights wired up. Very happy with the fogs for the money, quality is way better than OEM. Glass lens and aluminum body instead of all plastic with the OEM. Install was very, very easy.

Probably the nicest thing I can say about the OEM Ford Fog Lights is that they're absolutely pathetic. You're going to love the way those xB's perform!

I get 7 weeks of vacation a year and make sure I use them! If not, they are gonzo.

Order arrived while I was away. Everything looks good.

As we are driving out to Calgary next week (600 miles one way), I am going to do a quick hit on the paint to prep it for bugs, etc.

 - Usual Wash
 - nanoskin clay
 - Chemical Guys V4 AIO
 - Natty's red liquid LSP (just to top the AIO sealant, not sure how good it is)

I was able to get the truck done over the weekend. Lot's going on so had to take time in bits to get it done.

The focus was solely on the paint, so the trim, wheels, wheel wells, etc are all still un-detailed.

- Two bucket wash with Meg's MF mitt and my new Grit guard washboard
- Clay with Nanoskin mitt with ONR @ QD ratio
- M101 on a 0rang LC smart pad (5")
- Chemical Guys V04 on a white LC smart pad (5")
- Poor Boy's Liquid Red by hand with foam applicator
- Menzerna PL used on the mirror skull caps and bumpers/lights

Products used

Paint before. Mostly deeper marring, not much in the way of swirls

Tape job

After clay, I went straight to the V04 on a AIO Orange Superbuff pad. It did have some cut, but not enough to get out the marring I had. So I moved to a LC Orange pad and M101. The V04 is VERY thick and took a bit of dialing in to figure out how much product to put on the pad. I would say it's cutting power is a bit less than M205. I did a ISO wipe down to see what there was for fillers and it didn't appear to have much. It did go on ans come off pretty easily. It didn't leave a very "slick" feeling paint behind, which I didn't like. I wasn't sure on the protection and wanted to try out the liquid red, so that was the LSP. Liquid red was really, really viscous. It soaked right into the applicator pad, I've never had a wax that was that thin before. It did make it really easy to apply super thin and removed very easily.

V04 AIO prior to removal

Overall, very happy with the end result. the Liquid red left a very nice slick feeling paint and added very nice depth. the paint looks deeper and more "liquid" than when I use Menzerna PL.

It was cloudy out, so no good sun pics, but here are some afters

Dude.  Those afters are awesome.  For what its worth, liquid blue is the same way.  Extremely thin.  Most people question whether or not its even good.

Thanks Man, Good to know on the PoorBoy's waxes. I wondered, but trusted that was how it was meant to be.

Looking at the pics, the color looks completely different in the halogen lights compared to the natural sunlight. I have to say though the flake really comes out now.

Funny.  Just got done talking to Steve and completely forgot to tell him about this.  I will see him in a couple weeks.
