Thanks TS! A couple of co-workers saw the truck today and I now have a older BMW 330i and a Audi A4 to do in the next few weeks.

Mike, Please let Steve know that I am super happy with the wax so far. I'll have to get a pic of the beading as it is amazing (rained here today).

Just made it to Calgary. I'll wash the truck up tomorrow and see how easy the bugs come off. Long day, 11 hrs to do 638 miles.

That's about our trip to Tennessee including a few food and gas stops.  I want to try to make it on just gas stops but I'm never alone and my girlfriend will freak out.

Bonus of the 36gal gas tank is I don't have to stop for gas at all. We try to limit ourselves to two stops along the way, but often have a third just for sanity sake.

From last week, but I took a couple of pics while at home depot. I put one of them on the FB page.

I saw the one on Facebook.  I was the one that liked it on behalf of the cafe because I can't figure out how to post or like anything from my own personal account on the cafe's page.  Haha

I haven't seen one that color, or any color, look that good.

Started the prep work on the Stereo surround last night. All tapped off. I hope to get it sanded and primed tonight.

It's a PITA, but needs to be done.

I made a bit more progress today.

Sanded it down, wiped it down with ISO, Primed and painted

Dipped the bottom plate without issue.

Unfortunately, I didn't notice that the activator spray didn't spray very well and it messed up the film when I went to dip the big piece.

So it's messed up and I'll have to sand it down, re-paint and try again. No biggie, just a bit of a pain.

Had some success tonight. I'll try and get the parts cleared tomorrow and post up some pics of my mess up and the end result.

Hahaha! Yup, a thread without pics is kinda useless. I wasn't able to do the clear-coat today, but I hope to tomorrow.
