Realized I didn't post the X3 Max on tracks.  Sooooo big.  Haha

Even without the tracks, it’s so long that I think it would get hung up on stuff all the time.

Yeah, long distance haul comfort is mandatory. We test drove a 2016 X5 diesel and it seemed super comfy, but we all know that can change after a few hours behind the wheel. Time will tell, I will leave this up to her with a little bit of influence as needed  :whisp:

Bill's 2016 was fine until we reached the IL border.  Then the next 3 hours from there to DSM were a torture rack.
Then again I have both hips replaced and Bill has a hip and shoulder replacement.
This is not an issue in the Nav. I drive 5+ hours to a lot of places in my territory without this problem and don't dread the return trip once I am there like his X5.

So is it a matter of aches and pains or just annoying ride?  Uncomfortable seats or suspension?  Combination of things?  Suspension is a trade-off of something else.  You can't have it all.  Uncomfortable seats to the point of causing pain, however, I feel there is no excuse for these days.

This is a whole other animal but our work trucks are TERRIBLE!  Now keep in kind they are stripped down 4500s.  But the seats... They cause me so much pain and I spend 3-4 hours per day driving it.  You don't realize it when you get in and drive a half your or so but sit there for an extended period of time and you quickly realize there's a problem.  I've looked in to it and have seen a lot of people complain about the Ram seats causing this exact thing.

Well crap...

Blew a turbo yesterday. I pulled it last night and from what I can tell, it was a overspeed problem. I did have some over boosting and WG issues which can cause this.

Should have replacement parts on order by this afternoon to get this thing back to testing and tuning.

I'll post up some pics of the carnage. Oil EVERYWHERE  :dope:

Damn, Ryan.  I'm sorry to see this.  When a turbo goes, it really goes.

It just plain sucks. We were really starting to get somewhere and things were running pretty great.

All well, gotta take the sh*t with the sugar when modifying stuff.

Imagine how much it would cost if you got one with pedals.

Check one more off the list.

Talk to Mike about brakes. He only uses the front ones though.  :funny:

I would have been better off if I had a bike with no pedals.
