Get there in a day and easily get there in a day are totally different things.  14 hours of driving is not an easy day trip.  Haha

14 hours in a Ford is still an easy day....  :redneck:

14 hours of driving is a far cry from the 26 it was from Vancouver.

It’s a long day, but this truck is pretty comfy to cruise in. The shocks actually make a difference on the rough roads, noticeably less fatigue.

You guys know there are things called airplanes, right?

I probably wouldn't mind those kind of drives once maybe just for the adventure but I wouldn't want to keep making the same one.  The 14 hours is worth it just to have your own vehicle.  Especially if the alternative is a flight for 3.

I like flying, but not during the holidays when every idiot on the planet seems to be out in force. (Not to mention the high ticket prices at those times.) And to tell you the truth, I kind of like driving long distance. Yea, I'm weird. (Old too.)

Probably 10mph under the limit in the left lane with your blinker on...

Haha couldn't resist.

You forgot the part about the upside down AAA sticker on the bumper.  :funny:

The sticker is fine.  The car is upside down.  You're in a ditch.

That explains why my seatbelt is so tight and I'm not making any progress on my GPS even thought the speedometer still reads 54 MPH.

Ahh.  54 mph.  You must be on the interstate.  On the plus side you're now put of the passing lane and not holding up traffic.

Mid day nap.  Fell asleep on the throttle.

Cool picture though for sure.

I spend enough time on a plane for my job. I love driving, always have and can eat up the miles with the radar detector on.

I used to love driving.  I drive quite a bit for work.  Over 200 miles a day usually.  I think I just have driving in Pennsylvania.  Driving home from Tennessee, as soon as you hit West Virginia, you start to see All of the Pennsylvania plates and it's not a coincidence that you suddenly have to be the worlds most defensive driver.  You can't relax at all.  New Jersey is the same way, maybe worse and those are the two states ai spend all my time driving in.
