Too bad you did not have time to get the lights installed in the bumper, they might come in handy with the trip.

You got a lot done before hand.
Yeah, I have them sitting on the bench. I doubt I’ll be able to get them in tonight.

I need to get the snowmobile running as the priority.

That truck needs to be featured in a magazine someplace! Awesome attention to detail!  :nw:

The truck did very well on the trip, about 1900 miles.

I'll get some pics up, but I was able to get about 500 miles on sleds, did some trail clearing and grooming and some fun visiting.

I feel pretty blessed with my little guy. It's about a 14hr drive one-way and we did it in one shot both ways. He is gonna be like Dad and love to drive I think.

It was a ton of fun. A buddy and I grabbed a few beer and went out to clear trail.

Fell through the ice by a beaver dam, but were able to get it out pretty easy.

Even made a snard!

Looks awesome!  The little guy looks wore out there in that last picture.

Looks like you're in the middle of nowhere.  So what is this place anyway?  I'm not sure how to word it.   Do they just own a ton of property or is it business related that they have a groomer?  Or is that just the way of life up there and everyone with some land had a groomer?

Yes, the little guy looks plum tuckered out in that last pic. Bet he slept well that night! Great pics!

Now, how about a snow angle instructional video?  :redneck:

My Dad does have about 1500 Acres, but almost half is bush. Mostly used for wild hay and hunting. He does live in the middle of nowhere! He lives about 14 miles from a small town called Gypsumville, Manitoba.

My Dad is the president of the local snowmobile club (has been for about 30 years). The club has three groomers that we use to maintain the trails. A BR160, BR180 and a Tucker 190. They all have drags that we pull behind them. We also have two "Snowmobile" groomer" that pull small Drags. The club has over 300 miles of trails to maintain. My Dad was doing one of the trails and took the boy along for a ride along some of it. We actually groom the trail right to my Dad's back yard, which is pretty sweet.

The pics of the sled were on a very small swamp lake 60 miles North-East of my Dad's place. The area is completely inaccessible in the summer, so it's fun to go out there in the winter. It's a really swampy, low lying area.

That sounds pretty amazing.

I love going back home and now that I can easily get there in a day, it makes it more doable.

With the boy getting a bit older, I can go take him out and not have to worry much. My dad already bought a dedicated car seat for him in the side by side, lol.

Get there in a day and easily get there in a day are totally different things.  14 hours of driving is not an easy day trip.  Haha

Aw hell, 14 hours is about day #1 of my annual (2 day) trip to Colorado. That's still a pretty good haul for a little guy!
