That looks super clean man!    That kit isn't cheap either.

It isn't cheap, but the only other option I was considering was retrofitting Raptor upfitter switches. Would have been more and I would have had to mess up the dash.

This way, I figure I'll be set for at least a few add-ons.

So I have been gathering a couple of items to get down on the truck. The Wife and wee one will be heading back east for a couple of weeks in May and I will try to get these all done at that time.

I don't have the coin for new tires right now, so the stock wheels and tires will be going back on. I am not going to run winter's in the summer :uugly:

 - tint for front windows and tail lights. I have an appointment set up already.
 - G2 Tail lights. I like them better than the Recons and will probably just sell the Recons.
 - LED light strip for under the tailgate. Hopefully it will help with people that really don't seem to pay attention.
 - Hydro Dip the stereo surround, center console (part of it anyway) and some of the parts of the door panels.
 - Full paint correction and detail
 - Wire in LED strips for bed lights

Here are the tail lights I bought

Here is the graphic of the Hydro film I'll be using. right now, I think the base color will be Blue Flame. I think it will look really neat.

Hydro dip film arrived today!

There isn't anything else I really need other than time. So hopefully, I will get to it on the 14th or 15th.

I might have a vehicle to detail that weekend though, but we'll see what happens.

I'm so impatient.  Haha.  But I fully understand being busy.  A little too much.

Getting closer. I picked up the base coat I wanted and will look for a tank heater today.

My friend broke her ankle playing baseball last weekend, so I don't have a car to detail and will start on the truck!

Well, I didn't get a single thing done on the truck this weekend and I fly to Nashville for the week tomorrow.

Next weekend is a long weekend up here, so I will dedicate some time.

Boooooo!

Th constant hustle can be a drag.  I find myself becoming  frustrated at times.  Sometimes I have to sit back, organize and prioritize.  When I make it a process and take each step accordingly I can enjoy it more without feeling bogged down or scattered.

Make sure to watch the security line time when heading back home.

ORD TSA Pre was 55 min last night.  I don't know if Nashville is as bad.
- Regular line was 2 hours this AM.

That was it for me this weekend. Just too rushed and I wanted to take my time. Next weekend is pretty open, so looking forward to getting at this project.

Jeepers, just landed in ORD and it is really busy!

I hope that since I'll be coming back through on Saturday, that it won't be too bad.

I thought the same thing, Sunday night 10:30 PM flight it won't be bad.  :dope:

Nashville might not be nothing like it.
My partner waited 2 hrs this AM to miss his 9:15 AM plane, and the next one that had a seat was the 10:30 PM ( same one I was scheduled on SUN night ).

I am getting ready to head back into the mess in a bit for my 7:50 PM rescheduled flight.

Made it back home, early day for me getting up at 3:30am.

I hit the jackpot with Craigslist today and picked up a set of 20's from a 2016 sport. I thought it was a scam, but just turned out to be a kid with too much of Daddy's money and wanted to dump his stock wheels. He had a really nice '16 Lariat with 6" BDS lift and 35's on Fuel wheels.

Anyway, I was able to get the wheels on the truck and removed the lower air dam tonight. They need to be cleaned  along with the truck, but that will happen later. I will also have to swap out the pressure sensors as the new ones are not compatible with my truck.

Tomorrow I hope to really make some progress. The ambitious plan is:
 - Remove door panels
 - Pull apart panels to get pieces that will be painted/dipped done
 - Get the parts prepped and painted so they can cure overnight for dipping on Monday
 - Install auto-tailgate lock
 - Run wiring for tailgate lock, lighting and 12v power supply at the back of the truck
 - Enjoy several adult beverages
