Well it’s 9 years with it a month from now that I’ll have owned it.

Want to get through one more year and then onto something newer. I’ll probably set it mostly back to stock and trade it on or sell it, we’ll see how it goes when the time comes.

Kinda set on a Raptor, but a F250 or a F150 Tremor may hit the mark.

What is mostly back to stock?  To most people that’s an exhaust, intake and tune.  You have quite a bit in to that truck.

Are you looking to modify the next vehicle or leave it relatively stock?  With the tremor and raptor, while wildly different, they both come pretty capable from the factory.

It would still have the motor, transmission, some bolt-on's and bigger than stock turbos (I have a set in a box). I would probably focus on pulling off things that I could get a decent buck for and leave it at that. It would still have a good number of mods for the average bear.

Mods on the next truck are largely going to depend on what I get and what budget I have to work with. If I go Raptor, probably won't do too much other than some functional things like intercooler, winch, bed mounts, etc. If I go with a Tremor, I would likely get the 5.0 and supercharge it, do some suspension mods along with some functional stuff. If I do a F250, I would seriously consider doing a Cali kit on it.

Which version of the raptor?

What engine options are available for the f250 tremor?  Diesel, 6.2 and 7.3?

For the Raptor, I would do a 2020 or 2022 with the right options. If I do the 2020, I could actually swap over my current turbos and make some pretty nice HP. I really like most things on the Gen3's, except the price. Also, they dropped the Torsen front diff for 2023 that really I would really like to have.

I would likely target a 22 or newer F250 tremor do to all the interior updates. I'm leaning towards a 7.3 for what I would use the truck for, but I am also of the mindset that I would kick myself for not just going with the 6.7

I did a quick search and found nothing.  Admittedly I didn’t look hard.  What’s the Cali kit?

Sorry, Carli kit. There are a bunch of options, but I would for sure do the electronic shocks and arms with about a 2.5” lift.

Just came across this on Facebook.  I bought my 2011 mustang new from this dealership.  Things are crazy.  It doesn’t say it’s the R but it does say it’s a v8.  I like the market adjustment part…

There is no chance I would ever be able to buy a Raptor R, but the prices are starting to come down a little. I’ll see how things play out next year and go from there.

Getting stuff done for the show. Hillbilly paint job, hitch painted and running boards dropped off to be re-done.

Lots more to do, but getting a little closer which is good.

Sanded down the bars on the intercooler and hit it with some “Steel It” rattle can paint.

PPF removed from the front bumper. Probably just going to touch up the paint chips for now and polish it.

Also removed the wiper cowl to coat it and the windshield is also supposed to be replaced tomorrow.

You’re not going to want to get rid of it when you get all the little nagging imperfections fixed.  Lao t looks good under the film.  And I dont know why but the hitch is very satisfying to look at.

Lots of random chips from larger hits and a little sandblasting on spots where the PPF didn’t cover. Overall, very impressed with how well this stuff protects.

Not much accomplished today, but didn’t have much time.

Windshield replaced with another OEM piece. Put all the A-pillar and cowl trim back together. I hit the cowl trim with some meguiars stuff after I found that my Poor Boys coating had spoiled. I ordered some more to at least do the flares when I get to that point.
