Mini Jeep Detail
« on: March 11, 2015, 09:01:55 PM »
Took some time and washed the jeep....got motivated and polished the doors and reapplied Opti-Coat 2.0.    I tried to take pics to make sure it happend...it's hard to take photos and polish at the same time.

Process:
Tires and Wells, Megs APC+
Plastic and Bumpers, APC+ with brush
2 Bucket Method Wash, (had to dump Rinse bucket 2X due to soil)
Optimum Wash, PB wash Mit and Griots MF wash pole
1 Full bottle of Megs HD 4:1 Ratio on all plastic, wheels, wells, tires
Spray Way on glass, interior and exterior
Megs MF Compound with Cut pad using PC7424
Megs MF Finish with finish pad using PC7424
isopropyl alcohol wipe down
Opti-Coat 2.0 application

Poor attempt to get a Selfie while working....too much back light.

Ha, great job getting some work done on it! The weather must have really turned around there.

It was 67 degrees today, I washed the Jeep in shorts and a sweat shirt...it was awesome.

Your tuck looks bad? Want to swap that look for how mine looks right now? I took it to the quarter coin wash yesterday to blast the accumulated salt and crud off of it. I had to watch where I aimed the spray so as not to blow any more broken parts off of the poor thing.
