Jeep bought in Aug 2013
Side by Side was bought USED.
Storage was acquired in 2013.
Our money tree died when we put all new wood and tile floors in the house this year then lost my job....so not so winning.

Don't throw stones from the Power Lock House.   :)

Good god, I forgot about the flooring project... :wow:

I guess, from your vantage point, I am made of money after spending like that for 2 years. :dunno:

I do not recall any large expense / projects in 2013.  I did buy a pair of boots with fabric eyelets, that tore out last month and I had to replace.
- I  did the review on amazon last night, it was MAr-2013 when I bought them.

2013, until the end of MAY I was covering 2 reps over 4 states, so there was not much time for spending money.  Only driving ~ 900+ miles per week.

BTW : I bought the Power Lock on sale.. :redneck:

Going fluorescent bulbs to LED, I doubt there will be much of a power change.  Best case is about 25% less amp usage on LED.
- I just started it Sunday, and finished Tuesday, so no bill to compare for this project.

It will be hard to tell if there is any savings with everything that runs in the house.
- 2 racks of monoblock amps for the house sound system.
- 3 servers, The dual Xeon with 64GB is a space heater on to itself
- electric heater in the garage ( running tonight to try to opti coat the car ).

My ComEd energy report, I am almost double the average neighbors ( of ~ same size house ) for monthly consumption and 3x+ the energy efficient neighbors.

Having 15A, that is on the edge for running 2 halogen work lamps and a Rupes or Flex.
- Less if the wire is under sized or old.

I think the 1st step, in your project, is to run 2 20 AMP circuits out there.

I agree that it needs way more power. I have to look into what I can and can't do as I am part of a Townhouse complex. Even if I drop 25% going to the LED's in the to 4ft's in the ceiling, it will help me for now. I still have to confirm, but I think the lights and Garage opener are on a separate breaker.

I would also love to get one 240v outlet out there too.

To be clear, I have none of these luxuries in my non custom built house.

How much energy does a wall mount dial phone consume?

Should I consider upgrading to something more modern?  :funny:

I'll give you this one
- even though they costs less than the LED lights ( not mentioning wheels / tires, doors, etc ) on your Jeep.

3 servers, The dual Xeon with 64GB is a space heater on to itself

Work related items.  I don't need 5 TB of SAN and a ESXi 5.5 server myself.  Cost of doing business in technology sector.

What the heck would you need this for in TX ?
- You can skip the 3 days it is 34* and wait for a different JAN day  :Me:

If the lights and opener are on a separate circuit, you are already set.
You only have the DA ( and maybe a radio ) on the other circuit.

For you, zero.
- The -48 VDC is from the Bell operating company.

Don't ever get rid of that phone.  I think it will work past a nuke being lit off.

Now if you try to replace the acoustic coupler to get the Thedetailerscade.com, that is going to cost.
You are going to need to have one shipped back from the middle east or Africa.
- It is going to cost in shipping, they don't want them either.. :redneck:

I want to point out that this photo is more fake than the foam snard.   Note there is no cable from the bottom of the phone to the pole....nice try Tom..I do like how this photo does get legs like 5-7 times per year.

wire should come in behind the phone where the mounting plate is.

Could be but haven't seen that mount in a long time.   More disturbing is the amount of chains in the picture.

I am not 100% sure on that model Western Electric, but if it is the same as the slim line, it looks like this :

That phone is so old, it might still be using a 318A 4 pin jack  :redneck:

That is multi use space, garage, detailing shop and S&M dungeon  :wow:

Hah, you're all wrong! The phone is connected to the national phone grid, the internet, the sanitary sewer system, Netflix, Victoria's Secret, NORAD (and a few things I'm not at liberty to mention) via a wireless secure satellite uplink that cleverly uses the otherwise innocent looking chains as super conductors. This allows me to hide the multi-million dollar handset in plain site.

That said, I'm sure nobody will be able to figure out the technology behind my new cell phone:  :nana:

What, you think a guy with a dial phone would know how to use something like that? Shame on you!  :om:
