Anyone notice the sign in the corner?  Could it be any more appropriate?

OK since no one is gonna say it then I will.  That sign definitely says Mercy on it.  Like the truck is just screaming for mercy.  Perfect.

wow, an older 3 axle 5er is much heavier than todays models for sure.

I have seen similar but not that bad.

I'm guessing that thing weighs close to 18-20k ready to camp and I have it's pretty scary watching them try to get it stopped or make a turn.

Just for idea of what that beast weighs my old 1989 26ft 5er weighs in at close to 11,000 loaded with a full tank of water and all the stuff one drags along for a trip. Most don't understand why I drag it with a F350 until I tell them how much it weighs.

I hear ya, we did the exercise this season of removing stuff from the camper.  I would estimate that we removed close to 1000 lbs of stuff.   That included 1500 rds of .223 and 500 rounds of 57x28mm.   My rule was, "if we didn't use in the past year, it doesnt' go back in the camper"

That included, 9 12x12 tarps  (yes I said 9)
2 large hammocks
3 gas lanterns
1 small grill
1 extra sat set up
300 ft of Coax
4 water lines
2 extra 50amp shore power lines
2 fans
bike rack
extra wood blocks

you get the idea

That was a lot of weight

You guys in Texas just don't realize how good you have it with no road salt. Just compare this wonderful example of a 1989 Chevy pickup driven regularly through the salt up here to the two trucks Doug posted up. They may be waaaay overloaded, but they're looking half way decent compared to this little beauty. Now, hook this one up to that fiver and watch the fun begin!
