It's not to bad Jason.

Mike I didn't have to clean any of that snow up the neighbor came over with his brand Boss 9'-2" DXT V Plow and plowed for us. Plus my loader was at my dads so I couldn't clean it up even if I wanted to.
Good enough never is

I don't mind cleaning my own property up.  I just hate doing it as part of my job.  It involves really stupid and long hours.  Most locations need to be cleared by 6am.

Not to rub it in, but just a bit south of you in Chicago = Zero snow on the ground.

I think we had 1/2" of actual snow so far, the remainder has been rain.

Today is our 1st real cold day, it was 9* this AM.

Wow, that looks like a pretty good shot! You sure get a lot in that area.

Nothing but an inch or so around Calgary, I just heard the mountains got a big shot last night, it's gonna be interesting tomorrow!

I suppose if that is what we have to deal with yeah, you find ways to knock it out and live with it...for us, we have zero infrastructure for it so it is a major problem.   It looks really cool from here.... (Says the guy who is about to get a mixed bag of winter precep) this thrusday

Oh crap, I have been there for one of those.
- That is about as close to the end of days that I want to see.

Drivers either doing 5 MPH or 75 MPH on the ice bed under the snow, in all lanes ( makes for interesting 3 lane south side sweeps ) and sand speed bumps on the LBJ.

Just to rub it in, ORD is going to be 32 or 34 and sunny on THUR.   :uugly:

Well I see our normal annual pattern of entries has changes slightly this year. We usually start out with what I'll just call "pathetic" entries and work our way (slowly) up the scale as everybody sand bags their best stuff for last. (Probably trying to beat me.) This year we start out with Hallmark Greeting Card scenes and postulate as to how nice a snard made with that stuff would be. Pardon me while I puke.  :die:

As for weather here in the road salt capital of the world, it's 23 degrees and blowing 10-15 MPH out of the west - making it a bit chilly. We got 2-4" of fluffy stuff yesterday to try our new (used) John Deere 644E loader out with. According to our operator, it's a ton better than the ancient Trojan it's supposed to replace.

And as for snards, I'm not showing my hand just yet.  :nana:

We've gotten a whopping 2 inches here in NE Kansas. And it was slush before I hit the roads.  :dunno:

25* and no snow in sight.

Still the threat of snow on SAT, but the high is going to be 36*.
- EG : I am not holding my breath.

I have not found any great stuff yet, so I cannot even buy a Snard.

I might have some available - left over from a home remodeling project of course.  :redneck:

Looks like I'm in the lead  :judge:

As a matter of fact you are. In fact, you have the only entry showing an actual snard! And as much as I hate to admit it, you have a commanding lead. Rumor has it that Mike is hiding a picture of a Chevy Snard that although pathetic by past competition standards, is still bigger than yours. And since size matters ...

Dave however is way out in front in the category he devised called "Pictures of beautiful stuff that should appear in a  Hallmark Greeting Card that could possibly be used to construct a snard should one actually drive a vehicle through it." He's expecting almost no competition in this category since nobody really understands it.

I'm going to run out today and grab a picture for my new category called "Stuff that apparently used to be part of a world record snard, but fell off of the vehicle before it could be officially entered." In order to do this, I need to travel to the infamous Snard Graveyard on Empire Blvd where it crosses Irondequoit Creek and the bridge expansion joint sticks up causing monster snards to fall off. But first, I need to enlist the services of a guide who knows the area well ...
