Be careful getting too naked a rear end, you will always be last in the group with nothing to stop rooster tails.

Until I got the swing arm fender for the 9R, I was always at the back, nobody wanted to be behind me.

Tailgunner is not a problem for me, but just starting into a group, not the place you want to be not knowing how the road capt rides.

I hear ya Steve. My new fender will be full width and cover most of the tire. I just don't like the 6" gap between fender and tire. Similar to this.

Well, front tire went flat on the way to work. Sitting on the side of the road now.

Have I mentioned how much I hate tubes?

Edit: dealer fixed my flat for free. Unfortunately it took about 3 hours to get the wife to pick me up, grab the trailer, bring it home, remove the wheel, then go to the dealer. What a waste of a beautiful day. I'm just glad it happened after I was in town and not on the highway.
