My Benz CL 500 !

I bought this car from my dad a few weeks ago, never seen snow and only seen rain twice ! It was a weekend driver when that and he just bought a new one so I grabbed this one up.  My dad is older and although he took care of it he does not know much about detailing and the right mitts to use etc.

I finally got a break in the weather this weekend so I had a buddy come by who is way better with a polisher than me and we gave the car a 3 stage polish and cleaning.  I also did the engine bay.  Here are a few pics the engine bay pic was at 75% done but it is spotless now.

I also pulled the command sound system from the car as it was dated now no hands free and maps in the GPS were 8 years old.  I replaced with with a Kenwood 890HD unit and hacked the unit to replace the boot logo with a MB one so the unit looks stock !

What area of Ontario are you in?

Im near Ottawa.  I don't know the exact products I know the compound was a 3M, the polish was a Megs product and then he put a sealer on from a small white bottle by hand. Ill find the names of the stuff.

Ya i was real happy with it, I was also able to source out a unit that goes behind the radio and ties into the MB Fiber Optic harness which aloud me to use the amp and sub and not have to rewire the whole car like everyone had to do up until last year !
