Always liked those old "hard body" style trucks. Supposedly they were stupid expensive to fix for crash damage though. Nice color too!

Its got some rattles I cannot figure out.

Gonna put a 2" lift in it.   Needs a new tire.  Needs a half shaft drivers side   Needs timing belt and water pump while there.

Just gotta montor the stuf, its old and has 170K on the ticker.

Welcome to the third vehicle club. Not necessary expensive, but time consuming.

standard tire size all manufactures used till the mid 90s. 30" tall, 9.50 wide, 15 diameter wheel.

rockauto and ebay for your parts, don't even bother with the local parts store unless you can use a shop discount.

Strange, its on the side wall of brand new tires.   According to Discount the stock size is  31/1050-15  What the f?

when I first saw the truck, I thought it was lowered, but it's not so it makes me think the shocks in the front are just done.   Well, I think all the shocks are done.

31s are 1" taller and 1" wider. You can run anysize you want, won't hurt it on 30s. I'm not very familar with the pathfinders, but sag is usually coil springs. Shocks won't cause sag.

Thanks that is helpful.  I am going to just buy the 1 tire for now.   Pock up a 2-3 lift kit (rear coils and front) control arms for the front and rancho 9000XL's all the way around.   Then replace all the end links and bushings....

Yep watch rockauto, I bought closeout tie rods for $4 ea+ shipping. New old stock made in usa stuff. Was the same price for 1 ton rigs too, surprisingly.

edit also bought 4 new front inner/outer wheel bearings for $12 from their closeout. they were made in china though, relabeled advance auto cheaper line. Not many people can buy front wheel bearings for $12 these days. lol
