I am going to remove the remainder of the product tests that I have on the truck ( there are 3 or 4 tests on there at the moment ) and wanted an opinion if PoliSeal had enough cut to remove the wax that is there now, or if I should start with Hyper Polish then back to PoliSeal before applying Opti Seal.

I was thinking PoliSeal on a LC black pad, working it more like a polish.
The thin layer of sealant from PS is not a big requirement as I am going to a 3 layer Opti Seal with 24 hr cure times.

The sides of the box have 845 on them that is ~ 4 months old
The driver's side rear door is Wet Glaze 2.0 that is about 3 weeks old.
- Not that impressive for looks next to the driver's door with Poliseal only

Hood & passenger side front fender is a CG Blacklight Glaze / PB Natty's Blue layering test ( Natty's blue - Black light - Natty's blue )
- comparing to 1 layer of straight Opti seal on the driver's side front fender

Passenger side doors and box side are the same 845 application with Opti Car Wax over it.

The real questionable ones that make me ask are the Wet Glaze 2.0 and the parts with Opti Car wax on them.  They are not straight nuba waxes and have not been on that long.  This makes me think LC Black or White pad and Hyper Polish ( and the reason for getting opinions ).

Truck is mostly a garage queen, does not see too much action anymore.

Thanks for any input.

i would just use clay or an IPA wipe down.

Would an IPA wipe down do anything to the polymer base in OCW or Wet Glaze 2.0 ?

Just clarifying the internet rumor BS that goes on over at the A* site.

clay and IPA would more than likely take them off.

Washed the truck this AM.

That took care of the Wet Glaze 2.0, gone !

The usage of the word polymer on the bottle is not the same as optimum's usage of it on the OCW bottle.  OCW does say up to 5 months of protection, where Wet Glaze 2.0 makes not claim of time.

The driver's side door ( Poli Seal ) is a bit less slick than at application time, but that is not an issue for OS application.
- This seems to be a known quantity with Poli Seal, it is a nice quick polish and sealant application, but is not the best for longevity.

Poli Seal to Wet Glaze 2.0, the WG 2.0 looked a bit darker and not as crisp a reflection when compared to Poli Seal.  Not a shock here, PS does not have a built in glaze like WG 2.0.

The finish on the WG 2.0 panel was nice up until washing it, slick and a nice shine to it ( less the optical quality note ).

Though I would get this documented in case someone is searching for it.
Wet Glaze 2.0 is a queen until a wash product.
