dying chrome
« on: May 04, 2012, 02:32:41 AM »
So, on my harley I just bought, the chrome wheels have a decent bit of area that the chrome has flaked off and there's rust. I know the BEST option would be to blast it and rechrome, but as I can't afford that at the moment, does anybody have any temporary remedies that I can do?

I was thinking about blasting and doing primer and painting with silver, but I fear that would look like chit... and being spoked rims, I somehow don't see flat black working...

I'm open to ideas...
