so a friend of mine 'details' for this custom rides place... I dont think he's all that great-- he knows what propoganda they tell him and refuses to believe anything else (for instance: He uses a "powerful concentrate wax that's in 2 parts because its too strong to keep shaken up" and it " takes out scratches" but "they come back after you wash a few times"...
but that's just the intro...
He routinely waxes fresh UNCATALYZED paint... including his own... He says that because its clearcoated it will be okay to wax it...
I tried to tell him about why this was a bad idea, but he refused to listen... So I am watching him wax his freshly painted Suburban with (my stash of...) #21... Its funny how thick he thinks you have to apply it... As I tried to tell him about what remains after you remove it, his comment: "But if you put it on really thick it works better"... Wow...
I tried to tell him, but he refused... So now I am going to sit back and laugh when he comes asking me how to take out fisheye (to which I will politely respond "You have to get a repaint, and this time, WAIT 90 DAYS BEFORE WAXING!!!")
just my thoghts before I go to bed...
