Protecting glass
« on: August 01, 2011, 01:21:37 PM »
Hay guys and girls, I just picked up a new FX4 2011 ECOBOOST, my sprinklers etched the windows pretty bad on my 2005 F-150 so im wondering if theres a wax of some sort to help protect the glass.

You could try NXT or RainX but I don't know of anything specific. The only word of caution I have about trying the NXT on glass is don't use it on the windshield because it will streak and smear like a mofo.....don't ask me how I know that. :redneck:
Good enough never is

congrats on the new ride...there is one sitting in my driveway right now as a loaner...our EX is in the shop for the week and that is what they gave my wife to drive.

Thanks for visiting the Cafe, come back often.  There's always something new!

I've always used Opti Seal on glass, works great and I barely have to use the wipers.
