Airhead Candy

(1/1)

guitarman502:
Ok, so first off no pics until I start working on it, i know i know.  Buuuut, an airhead melted on the carpet in a spot about the size of a quarter.  What are the tricks?  Would the ice trick work for this one?

Center Stage Auto Detailing:
Personaly, my first step would be to sob heavily.

Rollingrock:
Is that the yellow stuff?

If so, how about just putting some ice on it until it hardens up then peal it off?

Ir APC+ 10:1 on it....or what about Folex?

gipraw:
I would try ice.  If that doesn't work, I have had some luck with heat from a hairr dryer, and using a NIT comb to get a lot of it out. Then using ice, APC+ and a razor blade to shave the rest off.. very, very carefully with the razor blade.

You can get a NIT comb from most drug stores.  It is used to remove headlice.  I have one with metal teeth, and it has saved me several times.

Its the cherry flavor... so red... on black carpet in a Mercury Mariner.

And thanks guys... i'm going to tackle it probably this evening if I get a chance.  It's in a friend's car and not a customer's car which is nice.
