Man, that thing must have gone for a ways on its lid! As I said before though, it gave its life to save the lives of your family. That's a pretyu good deal then. And we can be pretty sure those won't buff out!

This is one of those times where you just don't really know what to say.  So glad that everyone is okay and even better yet that they all walked away.  You may want to look for another Expedition god forbid anything should ever happen again.  How are the wife and kids holding up emotionally?  I imagine they're a bit rattled.

We are strongly looking into another EXPY and by the time we find out how much we are getting it could make a diffrernce in a gently used or possibly a new one.  There is a zero % interest thing going on now and I am looking for an X Plan number just in case.

The wife and I are a frustrated and a little rattled due to the overwhelming amount of phone calls but that is our fault due to facebook etc.  We've had several 2 hour conversations with State Farm so far today and we spent almost 2 hours getting stuff out of the expy...it was loaded with clothes we were donating to the Tornado victims.   Stuff was thrown in there from the clean up, glass, parts, etc...it was a mess and I cut the hell out of myself on some of the glass.

Wow - it sure did a number on the ol Expy.  It was had to tell for me - but where was the initial impact?

Sure glad every one is OK - the Expy can be replaced - family can not.

Take care - relax and clear your head so you can make the right decisions as they come at you. It's over and as we have said what's important to all - is OK!!

Very happy that all the safety equipment did its job. Lucky that everyone walked away from that one. Also makes me feel like my wife and kids are in a pretty safe vehicle.

That looks almost as bad as my explorer looked.

Was the initial impact on the passenger side?

Wow that is amazing...  Sure glad they made it out of that one.  Definitely makes you want to tip your hat to Ford!  I saw a pic of a 500 that my dad had sold a while back that was in a serious accident that involved a few rolls.  The whole green house was still intact.  I couldn't believe it.

Again, happy to hear all is well with everyone.  Had to be a gut wrenching experience.

nah it was driver side and that must have been a scary site with someone coming straight at you... I've been t-boned from the passenger side in a Camaro and was spun 4-5 times before I can to a stop and that was wild.

Glad everyone is ok with just bumps , scrapes and scratches ..
life is short ..do it while you can
