RV Detailing Products

Alright guys....I've asked about this before but wanted to be more specific, as I'm about to get busy on cleaning and protecting the new rig.  It's overdue already.

First of all, will the Thetford roof cleaner work on the awning and/or the awning on the roof, etc.?  What do I really need to buy.  OR do I really need to buy anything at all.  I was wondering if I should just use my artillery of regular detailing stuff to tackle it.  The one thing I'm definitely going to try is some Aerospace 303k for the awning and roof. 

Also, what else do you guys do for general protection in the hot months?  Do you cover anything (awning, a/c, tires)?  Do you just keep product on there?  Any advice will help at this point.

[Center Stage Auto Detailing]

I wanted to get something for my tires since they catch a lot of direct summer sunlight.  I kept thinking about those at the camping stores but just thought they were crazy expensive.
Then someone showed me these from Harbor Freight.

all four for $10.  I figgure at that price even if they blow off or ruin every once in a while, it's still better than $20/pair.
