LED Lights **updated with video, page 2**
« on: April 21, 2011, 07:06:22 PM »
man you guys are brutal...

Here are lights so far, waiting on the LED flasher to put the corners back in.

They are brighter than the photo shows.

Here is the 4 watt LED tail light

Anyone notice the Chrome turn signal in the light?   No more yellow

And when it blinks...

Truck doesn't look to bad for being in the rain for 2 days

got them here,

http://autolumination.com/

I tested and bought from several different companies, but they seem to be the best and easiest to work with.

My interiors on the EXPY and KR are all LED now...we did the camper too, added down lights on a remote...pretty cool.

I used Autolumination for awhile, but they charge a lot more on average than superbrightleds.com.  <-- I've been using their LEDs for awhile now and they are just as good quality for almost 1/2 the price most of the time.

The lights look great!

Looking good.  But everytime you add LEDs I get the urge to do the same.  Then I never do.

That is so odd, I had just the opposite experience with superbright....the quality of the higher end LED's was far less than Autolumination.

did you see that heat sync on the 4 watt red LED ?   That thing weights a ton!   Bright as all get out.

Haha.  Yeah.  I'm always spending money.  But next up is an intake and tune.  Looking for that extra 30 or so hp.  Lights when I get bored and need something to do but not sure what.

I hear ya, it has been fun to tinker with the lights.

My camper is the project for sure.  I want some killer, blind your ass back up lights on the back of the camper.

Can you rig up some HIDs?  Haha.  That would be awesome.

Scroll down....

http://autolumination.com/drl.htm

Just don't know how these would look on the truck or the camper.  I think I could pull that off on the camper bumper easy but on the back of the KR...4" seems kind of big...don't you think?   Can you see those hanging down from my hitch on the KR?
