2003 Mustang GT 5sp
« on: April 11, 2011, 02:38:27 PM »
So, I woke up the beast and pulled it out to get the requested photos.  I haven't done anything to it yet other than a quick wash.  I haven't even plated it!

I can't remember all of the mods.  I do know that it has an SCT programmer, Steeda shifter, BBK aluminum junk under the hood, Eibach springs w/camber kit, Magnaflow exhaust and really nice Cobra wheels.  I think the rear end has been changed to a 3.55 too but not a 100% sure.  I still need to have the previous owner email all the stuff.  I bought it Monday night right before I left for Arkansas.  So, it has sat all week and I'm just now getting to it.

Very Nice! I really like that color on that body style. Just seems to make it look "classy".

Yeah, it doesn't exactly stand out like the Firehawk.  I was informed (by wife ie Mustang lover) that the Firehawk will now be for sale!  :redneck:

I still need a truck too!!  :dope:

That thing looks great.  Any idea who tuned it or if it's running the canned tunes?  Canned tunes are junk and if it was tuned by an unreliable tuner, it won't be much better.  That's the only thing that would worry me.  It doesn't look like it's lowered much.  I'm surprised someone spent the extra money on the camber kit unless it was being tracked.

I like it!

That's really up to you.  For what you're probably going to be using it for it's probably going to be more cosmetic than anything.  Roads play a big part on what you "should" do as well.  Around here, I probably shouldn't lower my car... but I'm going to.

By the way, nice email reply.  Should have seen that coming and I didn't.  Haha.

Good looking car!  As for the SCT, you have the tuner right?

Thanks for the compliments!  I had the windows tinted yesterday with the same stuff that the CTS has.  Totally smoothed out the look!

roushstage2: yes he gave me the tuner in the package.  I really don't much about them or how to use it.  He said that you can tune it for different octanes.

It should come with 3 canned tunes that all are moderately better than stock but still suck.  It should hold 3 custom tunes as well.  I would personally stay stock until I got a custom tune but if it has an intake on it I would be concerned with anything other than custom because you run the risk of being to lean.
