If it really was feces, tell them to burn it.  But since it's mud, tell them to open their checkbook.

I would take the entire interior out, clean everything best I could, then tell them to go trade it in, fast!

Think he'll be making claims under warranty about electrical gremlins? I'll bet he'll tell his dealer about the mud hole too. Yea, right.
