Painting my trim
« on: February 22, 2011, 12:16:14 AM »
Thinking of painting my trim on my 07 f150 fx4.  Starting to look pretty gross so anyone know if I should rough it up a bit with a green scrub pad then paint or could I just wipe it with some alcohol and spray it.  Just wanted some imput if I should paint it, buy some black plastic dye, or use the heat gun (seen it on youtube).

If people paint it, they usually go with Krylon Fusion.  The trim dry from ADS (Showroom New, IIRC) works very well too.
