As the title states I was a little bored after I got home from work today. I have another addiction and it's to lights yeah I know I am wierd, so I dug the Makita out and my Plastic X and went to town. enjoy.....

Wow, that's truly amazing! I've always started with a PWF pad and Meg's M105 to cut down on time. I then finish up with the Plast-X. It'll be real interesting to see how it holds up. What did you use for an LSP?

Thanks Tom, I have not put any wax on it yet but it will most likely be Collinite 845. This was just a little experiment and I did not expect it to turn out any where near the way it did. I used a Lakes orange pad on the Makita at 3.5 and let the Plastic X and Pad do the work.

I might be tempted to put something on it with maximum UV protection. After all, that's what did the damage in the first place. Maybe Zaino or something that claims to have lots of UV protection?

I'll be real interested to see how that bad boy holds up. A couple of the guys in the local volunteer fire department have been bugging me to try something with a few of their lights. Your work gives me some hope.

My new light bar was shipped with some very beat up red domes so I will go out later and see if I can restore those as well. I am going to have to see what I have in my stash that has max UV protection. I will report back later.

Looking pretty good! I still think you'll love what M105 and even M205 do for speed. Then finish up with Plast-X.

Thank's Tom, I tried 105 on a vehicle detail and to be honest with you I don't really care for it. It was to dusty for my tastes.

Try Supplementing the 105 with Ultimate compound. It hardly dusts at all and is pretty close in cut.

I don't, I mostly have Meg's and Poorboy products I may have to order some Menzerna at some point to try.
