Hello All
« on: December 16, 2010, 04:21:16 PM »
Hello everyone, I found my way here from F150online.  Probably tell that by looking at my avatar.  Anyways, I wanted to join the forums so I could further myself into my cleaning obsession.

My trucks an '05 F150, red, and my mom has an '07 BMW 335 I with the twin turbos, alpine white.

My trucks been used to being kept clean, but I wouldn't call my self professional or experienced.  I have polished it once, and didn't do a great job.  I wash it regularly and just keep it generally clean.  Both it and the bimmer need a good cleaning job this spring so I figured I would hop over here and pick up some tips.

I have a few meg's products right now, and a porter 7424 xp with a few pads.  As far as specifics not sure, I have always used the NXT liquid wax, but the polish I bought was from their professional series.  Anyways, hope to learn more tricks of the trade.

EDIT.. Oops I forgot pictures.

I will agree about the great info.  I have spent a lot of time just browsing around before I even registered.

welcome Alex....thanks for hanging with me while i was boarding my flight....

Home now.   Still on the fence with hunting on Friday-Sunday so if I don't go, I can take a look at the paint you said was in question.

I'll let you know via the site what I can do time wise.

Hey that's fine, its about 15 degrees outside during the days so not much paint correction will be happening this Winter.  When it gets warmer then I will start working on it.  I don't think either of them are in bad condition, just need a good polishing to take out some swirling.

15?  Where do you live?  Thought you were in the DFW area?
