I had a really really awesome one going on my Crapalier.  It went all the way to the ground.  I should have taken a pic of it.  But, it fell off when I pulled out of my 'hood.  I knew it fell off, cause I ran over it, and it was frozen solid.

And remember, the rules specifically state that glueing a snard back on is a no-no. Worse yet is sticking somebody else's snard that fell off on your vehicle!  :judge:

Alright boys, time to step it up. Flew back home for the weekend, roads were real bad. they actually closed the main highway up to my dads right behind us (I didn't stop for the highways guy, lol) I figured if nothing else, I would get some decent pics for this thread :redneck:

Heres what the road was like...

The truck my buddy lent me(he also lent me the sled in the front of the trailer.

And finally the jaw dropping tailgate snard (I was bummed that some of it fell off half way up)

And a shot of the trailer for kicks

Dave,

I hate to do this, but I think we have a winner for the Tailgate Snard category!

Damn, and I thought I had that one!  :dope:

What exactly did you have in mind? A school bus after a trans-Arctic run? Personally, I'm in awe - and you know how hard that is for me to say! :redneck:

Glad I could regain some "Cred" after the car snard posted earlier. It took over 200 miles of driving in 8+ inches of snow to achieve this snard.

My buddy just about opened the tailgate before I had the chance to take a picture, I probably would have shot him... :die:

Ok, I am throwing my texas entry in.

Poor photo quality so its hard to see how amazing these actually are.  :)   They also do run the entire length of the "nerf" steps.

I guess my EGT's were low this morning.

Does this count as a double ?

had to show the wheel well...it was pretty cold out so I only snapped these

Thanks for visiting the Cafe, come back often.  There's always something new!

I am feeling a little ashamed posting these after the last entries.

My work truck I've been using doesn't have mud flaps or running bars.  Anything that does accumulate falls off over the speed bumps in one of the parking lots or because of my wreckless driving in the snow.  I love driving in the snow.

My achievement for today was holding a power slide through the entire ramp getting on to 78 West (near the Windsor Hotel) which is about 270 degrees (not quite a full circle) with over half ton of salt in the bed.  If there's a turn, I'm sliding through it (traffic permitting of course.) Actually, turns aren't required.  Just enough room to go sideways.

Here's my minor contribution to the contest this year. Best I can do with Texas winter.

Might be going out again tomorrow - maybe I'll get something else.
