Taking the plunge...
« on: December 05, 2010, 07:42:47 PM »
Bought hundreds in microfiber, products and other things.  Now I am looking to get a da so I don't have to do everything by hand, although some things just look better and have better results when doing it by hand.

After looking at the 2011 megs system it seems it is just the microfiber pads and new product line?

If that is the case would it hurt to go ahead and buy a da and retrofit the one I buy with the new megs system?

It is okay, totally understand.  Is the 2011 system just the microfiber setup or will a new da need to be bought?

Correct, a Griots, Megs or PC 7424(XP) and even the flex will be able to use the new pads by megs

I am stuck between a megs and griots for the first one and second one will be a flex followed by a true rotary after I get more experienced.

Other than wax/polish removal, some paste waxes & clay, I cant think of very many things done by hand looking better and there are limits where you can get a machine to fit/work sometimes but...
We will see what say you after a few months DA experience.
You can make money or you can make excuses but you can't do both.

people tend to like that new Griots DA...most would say they would get the one with the longer cord.  I agree.

If I get another DA (Which I am) it will probably be a Griots also.
