Paint
« on: December 03, 2010, 04:16:41 PM »
Well my brother got a 2011 car and customized it but wants to get stripes painted on it.  Does anyone know any good painters locally that can paint stripes?  DFW Area.
He was just going to put vinyl stripes on but with all the contours of the body kit it won't work.

Ohh and yes I know he needs to give it a bath.

RR-Edit, tried to get your photos to work but the path doesn't seem to be working
ESF@RR-Fail!  I took care of it.  Haha.

Hmm, a 2011 Mustang next to a Medium Wedgewood Blue Expedition.  Ha.

There are tons of guys that have vinyl stripes on their 2010 and 2011 Mustangs.  Actually, I believe it's also a factory option.

Yeah but with the cervanti, I think that is how you spell it, it has too many curves and angles to put on vinyl correctly.

Cervini's but I know what you mean.  It's the C-500 kit.  The one on their website actually has stripes.  They honestly don't look bad as far as the contours of the panels go but then again, I'm no expert.  And I'm obviously no help as far as finding a paint since I live in Pa.  Haha.  Good luck though.  By the way, I'm assuming he has already taken it to a shop that specializes in vinyl work?

Nice looking Stang!
Looks sort of fast sitting still.
Any motor mods yet?
