Meg's Gold Class Leather Conditioner

(1/2) > >>

BigSur:
Anybody know if Meg's GC Leather conditioner is oil or water based?  Someone just made me aware of an advisory in my owner's manual....."Do not use household cleaning products, alcohol solutions, solvents or cleaners intended for rubber, vinyl and plastics, OR OIL/PETROLEUM BASED LEATHER CONDITIONERS These products may cause premature wearing of the clear, protective coating."

I've been using this on my leather for 2 years.  If it oil based.....oops!  :dope:

Rollingrock:
do you have a KR?

Blown F-150:
I just read the back of my bottle and it says "contains no Solvents or Animal by-products" it also contains Aloe.

Maybe call the Meg's number to find out for sure, but I'm assuming by the description that it is a water-based product. :dunno:

attworth:
Meg's has MSDS sheets on all their products listed on their website.

The only hazardous substance listed is "Hydrotreated Distillate".

To my un-educated mind, that doesn't say much.  :dunno:

A "KR"?   Excuse my ignorance.
