Best way to apply Wax?
« on: April 05, 2010, 05:52:52 PM »
So, my grandpa has a 2007 Maroon Ford Ranger, and he wants me to wash and wax it. I'll be washing it with a foam gun with Megs Gold Class, two bucket wash method, scrubbing the wheel wells and stuff.

I'm also going to claybar it, simply because he hasn't done it since he bought it 3 years ago.

I have a random orbital polisher that you would get from Wally world or something, or can I just apply by hand? Which would be better?

I'd also like to order some nice wax so that it really, really pops. Any suggestions?

Thanks guys.

I would do it by hand before using the Wally world buffer ... as for products, there are a lot to choose from, but again it would depend if you were going to order online or want to pick it up locally
life is short ..do it while you can
