Optimum Opti Seal & Spray Wax Sale!
« on: November 02, 2009, 05:46:26 PM »
Since winter is going to be here before we know it, I decided to put Optimum Opti Seal and Spray Wax on sale.  These two products are an excellent combination for when it's cold.  Opti Seal and Spray wax are quick and easy to use plus you will get great looks and some nice protection.  Check them out here......Optimum Opti Seal (8 oz.)

Optimum Spray Wax (17 oz.)

I'm going to let this special run until Friday!

You must have known I was about out...

I actually just used the OP Spray wax for the first time last week, and also again today. The first was topped over PB white diamond on a silver truck, and today I used it over black hole on a black Accord. I know the bottle says up to 5 months protection, but what have you guys seen out of this product? Do you use it a lot Justin?

Super easy on & off - did the whole car in about 30 minutes and the looks are great I think.

Yes, I use the Spray Wax a lot.  I go through several gallons of it a year.

The only way you are going to get 5 months durability out of it is if your vehicle sits in the garage most of the time and is out of the elements.  I mainly use the Spray Wax on personal vehicles and on my customers maintainence vehicles, so I really don't see how durable it is.  You will probably get around a month or so durability out of it to be honest, but, like I said, it really depends on the conditions.

I think most people that use it do so mainly after each wash.  The ease of use of both products is incredible. You can apply it so fast and you get a great look that its doesn't make sense not to apply it.

Being how this stuff is so easy and fast to use I could see using it a LOT. Since it is a spray in my head it doesn't seem to be along the same lines as using say NXT, EX-P, or Natty's - would it be comparable to those as an LSP?

I think the new version (which is all I have in stock now) has a warmer look to it than the old version.  It looks deeper looking now, I thought the old version looked more like a sealant like NXT or EX-P.

How many vehicles can you normally do out of one of the 17oz bottles? I've done a GMC 3500 and an Accord and have at least half left....

Also, do you sell the gallons? (didn't see it on your site if you do)

I probably use a little less than an ounce per vehicle. You don't have to spray on a whole lot, you just want to be able to cover the panel.  Most people use way too much.

Yes, I do carry the gallon size on my Obsessive Detail website, but not at The Rag Shack right now.

What is the preferred method of applying?

Thanks for visiting the Cafe, come back often.  There's always something new!

Yes I'm curious too.  I like the idea of spraying something on just before you towel dry.
You're only here for a little while, do it while you can.

I just spray it on the panel and spread it in.  I don't really apply any pressure at all, I just let the towel glide over the surface.

Yeah I'd say I used WAY too much then. One spray on a door, or 1-2 on a hood or roof would probably do it easily now that I think about it. I guess I had a QD in mind when applying.

Edit: Just placed an order for some more spray wax and a few other things. Thanks Justin!
