A Special Unveiling
« on: September 03, 2009, 11:45:19 AM »
So some friends and I went out to celebrate a birthday.  While we're having dinner we notice a that the guys next to us are sitting alone and appear to be somewhat bored.  Our conversation eventually turns to cars and those two guys perk up quite a bit.
Turns out that those two guys work for Lamborghini.  One of them was none other than Valentino Balboni.  He was the chief test driver for Lamborghini for 40 years.  These guys were really cool and invited us to come hang out with them the next day.
Well it turns out they were in town to unveil the latest Lamborghini that is bearing Valentino's name.  Talk about a wonderful experience.
Enough babbling and on with the pictures.

Now if that was me, they'd turn out to be on the run from the law in four countries, have stolen my identity and PIN numbers, "borrowed" my girlfriend and run off with my truck. Some folks have all the luck. Cool!

AWD I believe.  Look at the brakes on that thing.

that is pretty cool...they did this in Dallas last week.  I didn't make it over there but it was on the news.

Wish I had seen it.  So jealous.

Thanks for visiting the Cafe, come back often.  There's always something new!

Ditched it to save weight?  Previous non-light weight Murcielagos were AWD though correct?  I'm just looking for confirmation that I'm not nuts...

What model is this?  I thought the SV was the new model but that doesn't bear the SV markings, the wing or the vents(?) over the engine compartment.  Just curious.

Forget it.  It helps to have the right model.  I thought it was a Murcielago but it's a Gallardo.  I couldn't tell without seeing a good pic of the heads or tails.  Don't mind me.  Forget I said anything.
