7424xp kit with pads who have the best price and pads

iam going to pull the trigger on a pc 7424xp i just wanted to know where i could get a kit with pads for a good price. Or should i buy the pads seprately and if so what pads should i get to start off thanks. I just a little lost there so many sites to pick up a kit or a buffer and pads. Iam just askin for a little direction

 When I looked into mine, I ended up buying the 7424 from ADS and adding a 6 pack of pads. This worked out better then the deals from Autotopia..

X2 thats what I did. also got them from ADS. I got 2 orange, 2 white, one black and one blue. I would also go with a 5.5 instead of the 6.5. Thats just my opinion. http://www.autodetailingsolutions.net/7424xp-porter-cable-da-polisher.html

I have 7 Lake Country 5.5 pads to get, what colors should i get? yellow orange green white black blue red. Please help i just have to let rick know so that he can put in the order

Your right I told him to get it just to have it. He knows if he needs any pads he can always raid my stash. He swapped it out for another black.

I agree with both of you.  The yellow is nice to have on hand but is probably the last pad I would get.  I'd rather have 4 or 5 white pads before I got a yellow.  You'll go through whites like crazy.

Since my white pad is still in the plastic, how should I be using it?

I use white for most of my products like polishes and glazes.

White is typically the go to pad for most of your polishes and compounds unless you know from experience with a certain manufacturers paint or a vehicle you have worked on prior that the given condition will require somrething more aggressive.  So basically use the white pad to start and check your work and adjust from there.  Ill typically adjust polishes before pads.
