Estimate on the car $2600 Estimate on the truck $1600

Progressive estimate car $1600 and truck $900

Wonderful  :bt:

Can get cash money on the car.

But said that since there is a lien on the truck still that the check has to be writting to me AND the lienholder till it's in the shop.  Then they will issue a new check to me AND the shop for that price and any other money the shop needs.
Is that normal practice?  I've never had to deal with checks written to me AND someone else.

Was going to take the money and just repair the hood but don't see anyway to do that now.

Same here. Got a quote from an "Authorized" shop with an Allstate agent on site. Shop obviously does the work for whatever the Allstate guy says. If they find more problems later, they issue a new check to me and the shop, where I would need to come in and sign the new check.

I didn't claim it, but that was the process with my truck.
