Here is a short video on what it does...its pretty slick and handy if you are trying to warm up the truck quickly and or run things off the truck.

Nice video and interesting mod. Is it 100% manual in that you have to turn it on and off or does it shut down or time out at a certain temperature?

By the way, I've just got to chuckle though at how fast your glow plugs cycle down in Texas. Must be nice. You ought to come up here in the dead of winter where you have to cycle the darn things 2-3 times before your oil burner will light off.

I've skipped the WTS light and have a LED hooked up to the relay that controls the glow plugs, so I know exactly how long they are on for.  The WTS light is a liar.

You can leave the switch on all the time if you want. It is only activated when in Park and with the E Brake one.

Also if you tap the brake it stops then will rev back up.  The other version is On Demand, so if you had a PTO off the back and it started drawing power it would kick in to the right RPM to keep the power up.

As for the WTS light, I had already driven some so it was pretty warmed up.  LOL

I was gonna say, if you found a way to get the rebates AND the 0% financing that's a sweet deal.
