Title: Revelstoke BC Bike Park
Post by: Blown F-150 on September 26, 2022, 10:55:55 AM
Well, that was fun. HUGE hill, total rivalled Whistler for shear elevation drop from top to bottom. It was over 5000ft and 30minutes to do one run down the hill. Great Trails and really well laid out.

The trailer worked out well to spend the night in and the weather was incredible.

Looks amazing!  Always jealous.  Both of the landscape and the guys to ride stuff like that.  That’s awesome!  You and Jason are my idols for getting out and doing it!

Ha, well I’m jealous that you can go to Windrock! I hope to go one day and have a good friend in Maryville that I would go visit as well.

Holy Chit, I saw your max speed of 49 and then realized you meant KM/H

Looks amazing.  I am riding in Hot Spring AR. Climbed 1600+ft plus today, only 1300 ft yesterday, taking Friday off the bike and hammering on Sat.

Glad the camper is working out, that is awesome.  BTW it is cold here.   50 tonight for a lo

BTW, on Strava, we should connect, I am Pedal with Us Jpriakos

When I was younger (a lot younger), I was doing BMX stunts before they called it BMX. As for the stuff you guys are doing today, hell I could do that. Yea, right!  :om:

That’s awesome Jason. I just don’t have the stamina to do any real climbs, this Crohn’s thing is kicking my butt in that department.

It’s chilly here at night now, probably gets down to high 30’s, but still 70’s for a high.

I’ll try to pull some GP footage of the trails and post up shortly.

Shot you a request on Strava. I don’t use it much, but is fun to use here and there for stats.

BMX is a ton of fun, did it a little when I was a kid as we had a skate park right across the street from my house.

Like Tom, as a kid so was in to BMX riding.  We never had any official parks, just areas of woods that kids turned in to tracks, paths and jumps.  We didn’t have much money as a kid so whatever cheap bike I could get my hands on was what I rode.  I broke my first bike in half and my dad took it to work and welded it back together.  We lived in a complex so we would set up boards on curbs and dumpsters and use that as jumps.  Got hurt too many times to count.  So now when I see you guys out there doing your thing I just see injuries and time out of work.  Haha.  Crazy stuff you guys do.
