My patio is kind of trashed...that box was in the pile to be thrown out tomorrow. The wind out here is crazy.
Decided to cook up about 25-30 more .
this is going to take freaking forever.

I ended up getting about 40 boiled...about about 200 more to go. LOL
I did do a quick test after the first back came out of the dryer...the really old red superflys are still not working properly but the newer ones seem to absorb much better.
Could end up being a very painful process...and I could be throwing out some MF's.

At least dedicate them to a task other than paint. Interior or inside the house, even shop rags. Can never have too many rags laying around even if they do only get used one more time and then tossed. Thinking along the lines of oil changes and such.

This is what I do when I drop one. It gets cut in half and used for wiping up spilled coffee in the garage or soaking up oil on the floor.
I might as well go out swinging is the way I look at it.
- It really pisses me off when I drop a MF while polishing, get out one that is brand new and drop that one in the next 15 min. :moody:

Make sure you've cleaned out the drum of the dryer with some APC. dryer sheet residue will ruin your effort.
Good use of the turkey fryer though! Wish I had one... :boohoo:

yuppers, all of mine have specific uses for different products, and places on the cars.
As of now for my inventory,
Red, Blue and Shag Rags are all for paint. I mainly use the Shags for removing waxes and LSP's.
Reds and Blues are mainly used for paint, including QD's, polishes etc.
Yellow and Green are for wheels and glass and newer ones for interior. (Like new out of the bag kind of new)
Make sure you've cleaned out the drum of the dryer with some APC. dryer sheet residue will ruin your effort.

We don't use dryer sheets to my knowledge. I know I don't with MF's for sure, not even sure where they would be in the utility room.

Tom, he said utility room, not laundry room. Maybe they're different. The washer and dryer probably each have their own wing of the house. The laundry probably gets outsourced.

Laundry is not outsourced...but that is a great idea. Our washer and dryer are in the Utility room...there is also cabinets in there, storage, wine cooler, fridge, freezer, dog kennels, bow hangers. Lots of places dryer sheets could be...I just went and looked, momma uses liquid softener from time to time I suppose.

Christmas gift for the Mrs. One year of laundry, outsourced.
Oddly enough it is a thing. A couple of weeks ago in Philadelphia, I was working a job at a high rise apartment building. I shut down the parking so we could work. Outsourced laundry guy pulled his van up on the sidewalk to go in and get someones laundry. He got a ticket. I laughed. The end

Posted like someone that has never done laundry...
Liquid fabric softener is in the washing machine, dryer sheets are for the dryer. They are usually in pairs for normal clothes.
- Towels for the house should be washed like MF towels.

That is real common around here in the high rises both rent & condo.
There is a dry cleaning drop off in the building and the clothes are returned back to the building.
- They get a large customer base just for doing the pickup and delivery.
The door man processes the pick up of the clothes same as package delivery pick ups.
No more going to the dry cleaners with the bag of clothes when you are walking around down town.
- It is not like in the suburbs where you drive and can leave the clothes in the car while you run your other errands.
