Went out to dinner tonight and came back with a better one.
- This was after heating the garage and melting everything off this afternoon.

We got a coating last night but that is all. Supposedly a decent storm coming this weekend.

Nice start to the season Steve!
I'm in the land of the snard and my truck is parked 600 miles away! :redneck:

Chicago has not gotten a decent snow to make snards with in years. I got lucky being home for the 4" we got due to Christmas.
-
I knew I should have taken some pictures of the Tacoma on the way back from Colorado! It snowed like hell for about an hour as I went through Indiana, then calmed down until I got to Cleveland. It then proceeded to snow pretty hard right through Erie, PA (where they had about 4 feet of snow the night before) and up closer to Buffalo.
But you guys know me. I stopped at the car wash before I got home to give the poor Taco a bath. I couldn't even use the side view mirrors because they were so coated in salt. Oh well, I guess I'll just have to wait - or maybe buy some more Spray Foam.

I have at least 20 details that didn't happen.
-
And you guys (thankfully) don't have pics of the (9 staple) incision from my hernia surgery from 2 weeks ago. I suppose that didn't happen either? (Them's the rules.) Ok, I guess I'll post pics!

Ouch hope you are doing OK.
As for posting pictures, keep those over at the AARP site.
If you feel the need to post them here you are going to get my glued closed HIP replacement pictures from me.

This should be fun!
My daily commute is 120+ miles on some really craptastic snowy back roads.

Plowing with a dually. You have far bigger balls than I sir!

It is definitely not for the faint of heart and right after I took that picture I almost removed the left rear fender. Also when I back into the road the rear tires are in the ditch on the opposite side of the road.

Yupper! That about sums up my experience with plowing in a dually. Oh, and don't forget the part about slush rows in road lanes pulling the damn thing all over the place. Yes, plowing with a dually keeps your butt muscles in shape!
And if you were wearing your glasses (seen sitting on the dash), you'd see even more!

This truck isn't thrown around by the slush as bad as I thought it would be but it is a handful in deep powder with the plow on it.
I had my sunglasses on....... :nana:

How much weight is in the bed?
On a side note, my garage started looking like a snard graveyard. Its in the 60s here today though so They're all gone. Once the rain stops I will have a small window to get on the roof and take down the rest of the Christmas lights before it gets cold again or snows again.

Zero weight in the bed which is kind of unusual for me since every truck that I owned with a plow on it would have at least #500 in the back. I run 2wd most of the time with no problems as long as I am not driving in deep powder.

Here is a very rare Snard Prevention Device Snard that can only be grown in the crappiest of road conditions.

Also here is a fairly large Running Board Snard.

Impressive! I'd never thought of applying Great Stuff Foam, then going for a short drive in the slush to apply a realistic looking coating. Man, I've got my work cut out for me here!

Oh come on!!
Those are 100% All Natural USDA Grade A Snards. :funny:

I think this one needs it's own zip code. :nw:

I'm pretty sure I can't compete with that. Hell, I doubt my Tacoma could even carry a snard that large!

Does a Plow Bugar count as a Snard? :redneck:

My feelings of inadequacy continue to grow. If I'm to ever even going to challenge that monster, I'm going to have to remove my mud flaps.

What if I told you there is a mudflap at the front of the running board in that Snard?

Then I'd really have to give up all hope. Of course you won't see it again until spring!

That Snard never stood a chance at the Car Wash earlier this week and itt looks like my Monster Snard days are going to be limited with this bitter cold weather.
-
That is impressive! I gotta say though, I'm not disappointed that my truck aren't in those kinda conditions that are required for such a quality snard.
