Title: Momma got a new ride
Post by: Rollingrock on April 15, 2017, 12:16:44 AM
The wife came home with a 2016 Acura MDX.   Totally tricked out AWD rocket.   Her choice.   I cannot wait to get the paint right.   Looks strange in the garage.

I have to say....The technology in this SUV is beyond impressive.

I want to hear more about the technology.  I know nothing about them.  They look good.  It's been fun watching you slowly get away from Ford over the years.  Seems to be a trend around here.

Something else I started?  :funny:

BTW, a friend of mine was giving me some crap about leaving Ford. I told him my Tacoma now has 53,000 miles on it. Guess how many times it went back to the dealer for warranty work? Once - for a passenger door that didn't quite close perfectly. Yup, that's all. As for my Fords (all nine of them), nothing even came close. I think you're going to like that Acura!

I do like the idea of blaming you for stuff.

I've only ever bought one vehicle new, not preowned.  It was the mustang and in the short time, 30k+ miles I owned it, it didn't need to go to the dealer for anything.  My Expedition did spit a plug once.  That sucked.  My other two Ford's were fine and my Chevy has been great.  That was practically new with only 11,000 miles or so.

Don't look at me.

We went from from a Pontiac and Ford to 2 Lincolns.

Ford Motor Company FTW !!!
